Indeed.

Stranger still, the majority of those racists who voted Leave are supposed to have been greatly reduced in number due to natural causes and Covid, yet even more people "don't understand " what they voted for today than in 2016. It's a puzzle, that's for sure.

No doubt Bloomberg from where the poll is reported has shifted from its Left-leaning financial roots to have become a Daily Mail spin-off. That'll explain it.

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry.

As far as your description goes, if the cap fits you had better wear it.

Anyone can see that the UK is coming apart at the seams due to brexit.

The Bloomberg version of the UK obviously doesn't include Northern Ireland.

Anyone can see that whatever crypto-communists say is designed to undermine the country.

I for one am just happy that nigel, boris and jacob did deliver, all these extra shekles we have in our pockets already, and we are only 3 months in! Everyone can see, covid aside, the job market is booming, uber eats and deliveroo are all hiring, nobody who can ride a bike , with a backpack to boot, and can carry maybe 5 or 6 pizzas, needs to be out of work! The housing market is booming, great if you are an owner, probably not so good if you are a first time buyer, but who cares? We have democracy! Once again, thank you nigel, thank you boris, and thank you jacob and nanny, you promised, and you truly delivered! Special thanks to nanny, as jacob has turned out in to a fine example of a 1950"s Britain !

Don't break the deal cp. 10 weeks!

Exports rebound

[Link]

Still too early to draw conclusions the virus has had a huge impact across the world in demand so it's difficult to know what is now normal.

Everything is so up in the air at the moment that, as you quite rightly say, it is difficult to know what is normal.

But it does show that exports are flowing from the UK. The real issue is that we are still waving in goods from the EU, again primarily Covid driven. Once things settle down and we can get global trade moving properly, then hopefully we can start putting the pressure on that by way of ramping up the pressure.

In 1967, when Polish mercenary Rafal Ganowicz was asked what it felt like to take human life, replied: "I wouldn't know, I've only ever killed communists."

Potentially good news, but as before, need more time to see what the deal is

Still no simplification or resolution on the export process, paperwork and red tape tho.

Also, it's a rebound of 40 odd percent of the original 40% drop so only half way back as yet

So what is the reason the EU is coming apart at the seams, Brexit? Presumably you will be leaving soon then?

Brexit has already cost 11.5billion in trade, Centre for European Reform think tank estimates.

That would be far more accurate than a leave tory rag extolling brexit to the point of complete delusion.

Obviously if your trade collapses to near zero and recovers 0.4% it is still disastrous unnecessary self-harm.

We've just spent 400 billion on covid, including helping millions of citizens and 100s of businesses. 11b is a snip in reality.
