I don't think ANY commentator has suggested otherwise. What is undoubtedly true was that there was a ground swelling of Trump supporters determined to make their way to Washington that day, encouraged and emboldened by Trump to believe the election had been "stolen" and determined to "do something about it". I read it myself in a variety of places, so when it happened, it was no surprise at all. Alex Jones may well not have co-ordinated the action, but he certainly encouraged it. The actual storming of the Capitol seemed spontaneous, but the feelings that created it were not. They were stoked by lies and misinformation coming directly from Trump and his motley crew of hangers-on. When inside, they hardly "walked through a public building"! They threatened to harm people and entered private spaces. People ran for their lives. No-one was murdered. People lost their lives as a direct consequence of the actions of the mob and the responses of those paid to protect the lawmakers from the mob. Yes, I would think that if countless individuals broke into my home with various weapons, zip ties, stun guns and were recorded stating that they intended to kill me, it might be an event that raises an eyebrow. The only reason politicians were not killed that day was because essentially they hid and escaped.

We have just had people like Jones and Stone investigated. The FBI have come out and stated that there was no worthy evidence for a coorindated plan. Yet, we continue to see unreality promoted and a certain level of criticism is deserved for that. It's certainly true that Trump and these others did encourage protest. Something the Democrats did themselves for 18 months while businessness in cities burned and people died. Unlike this continued support from the Democrats Trump didn't encourage the 'storming' (opened doors) of the building and made statements saying that once it happened. That Trump and others encouraged protest is accepted. If there were people who actually made direct death threats then appropriate individual action would be justified. I wonder if the FBI are willing to investigate figures in the Democrat party and BLM/Antifa for coordination during 18 months of rioting.

I am quite sure that if it was necessary they would have done. That no report on this has been made is evidence enough that it wasn't. Unless, of course, you believe the FBI has a political agenda. Which is another conspiracy theory circulating in the alternative media, where you appear to dredge up most of your ideas. You carry on. With every post you make on this subject, you confirm your biases and prejudices in all their ugly repulsiveness.
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |
