To reply to some of those risible BlueAnon points.

Alex Jones was outside the capitol building advising people not to enter the building....All that video is freely available.

I expect that Trump took some time to realise what was happening but that once he did then he gave that 'go home' message.

If Trump was trying to start an 'insurrection' then why didn't anyone who entered that building fire any bullets and actually take the building? Not one shot was fired by them....That is not the actions of a coordinated attempt to overthrow an election.

It's so stupid....As if taking one building would do that anyway....History shows you that overthrows are multiple attacks on communication/military and political infrastructure at once. Only ill educated dimwits really believe the fantasy stuff the Democrats put out.

The only person murdered was by capitol building security....someone who was whitewashed but should never be allowed a firearm again.

I agree with Trump....give them nothing. These are unethical people who proved their ill faith and corruption during your presidency.

I nearly choked on my Bagel. It was Trump (for all his faults) who got the vaccine up & running in record time, Biden actually praised him last week on it.
As for the economy? Don't make me laugh. Distribution issues as well as prices going through the ceiling even on basic items like petrol, milk, bread & even the bag of salt I bought from Home Depot yesterday for the incoming snow & Ice doubled in price from 7 to 14 bucks.
Add on the debacle at the southern border which is totally out of control, so bad in fact that the Biden administration have brought back in some of the restrictions Trump introduced & the Democrats condemned.

I rather think that was down to Fauci finally overcoming Trump's hesitancy. Trump played politics with the pandemic response as he could see the damage it was going to do to his re-election chances. Take a look at these for an informed view:

Prices are rising everywhere. It's an inevitable consequence of the pandemic and no politician is responsible. Biden's package of measures will take much longer to have an impact and its effectiveness cannot yet be judged.

The situation at the southern border is not something I have been keeping abreast of, so I'll take your word for that. It's been a mess for a long time and requires a whole new approach to avoid people wanting to make that journey illegally.

I don't "push" conspiracy theories". My opinions are all my own, and based on observation and analysis. Most recently the recent TV documentary which was all in the words of, and videos made by, the participants, with additional contributions from congressmen and women and their staff, who were all terrified.

Infowars was heavily involved in encouraging people to be in Washington that day, in pushing the idea that the election had been stolen and that Pence needed to be stopped from ratifying the result. InfoWars is Alex Jones. There are suggestions that he and Bannon had meetings with Trump.

It is widely reported that Trump watched everything on TV so knew full well what was happening.

It has never been suggested that a widespread "insurrection" was planned. That could never succeed. What has been suggested is that there was an initial plan to "encourage" Pence not to ratify, followed by a plan to have him suspend Congress because of the riot, at which time Trump would declare an emergency and perhaps martial law, followed by an "investigation" which "revealed" election fraud and the calling of a new election, with Trump remaining in office and being able to control the process.

Finding out the truth of that is obviously important. If it isn't true, what has he got to hide?

No-one was murdered during the riot. Unfortunately deaths occurred. One a rioter who lost her life when a security man opened fire when facing the mob. She shouldn't have been there. Whether he should have fired is a matter for debate but was arguably self-defence. It certainly wasn't murder. Policemen died later.

It won't be the Democrats who are "given" anything. It will be a Congress investigation, representing the people.

Exactly right; by the way some congratulations are in order - you continue to post complete and utter sense which is such a huge contrast to much of what tends to be peddled on this site in the political arena.

More far left support for the 'one nation conservative'.

I don't "push" conspiracy theories"

Then proceeds to push one.

Something is either an 'insurrection' or it isn't. It most definitely has been suggested that it was a planned 'insurrection'.....However what's suggested is so weak and fanciful that only a fool would think it could work.

As for the pressure on Pence to not ratify ....None of that is untrue....and perhaps that would extend to suspending congress I don't know. However once Pence's attitude was known that ended it...and Pence had come out with his intention before January 6th.....The martial law stuff is pie in the sky, that's a huge unrealistic leap....Qanon.

January 6th and a load of MAGA numpties travelling through the building makes no difference to anything.

To get from that to martial law is fanciful rubbish.

For Trump to get to martial law he would have to have had the support of the generals and he knew he didn't have it.

Personally I have little doubt that this particular line of enquiry had been considered...I said so at the time, however that was long gone by then.....all of today's generals are fully filtered and paid up members of the system.

The video of this killing rips apart the idea that there is some doubt as to whether she should have been shot. Here in this video you get one scene of this murder at roughly 18 seconds in...it's hard to find on Youtube now as the leftists try to memory hole it.

[Link]

What we saw was the justice of the Democrats.....not actual justice.

She presented no threat. To justify her killing as a reasonable action would have justified shooting everyone who entered that building....it's indefensible in my view.

Also, it's unethical to imply that later deaths were a result of January 6th.

There is zero evidence for it and that suggestion is nothing more than BlueAnon.

I am not "pushing" anything. I am commenting on what I have observed and what has been suggested. Then I said how important it is for the truth to be known, and why, if it is untrue, Trump is obstructing the enquiry, which he clearly is.

That some may have called it an insurrection doesn't mean I think it was, even though it could be so considered. An insurrection being "a violent uprising against an authority or government."

That some might think the plan "weak" doesn't diminish the importance of something like this happening in the USA. It was an awful example of democracy in action to present to the world.

The generals might not have supported Trump, but with Congress suspended and rioting spreading (as is suggested was planned) would they disobey their Commander-in-Chief? At the very least that would have pre-emptied a constitutional crisis. That's why we need to find out the whole truth. We must make sure it cannot happen again.

Well, I support Trump being as difficult as possible.

That's precisely how the Democrats treated him so they don't deserve anything else. They have nothing but ill intent for thim and anyone who has read your posts on Trump knows that's your position as well.

In my view for the US system to stand any chance of coming together both parties probably need a near total clear out of leaderships and severe restrictions on lobbying and funding.....On that aspect I think Obama was right.

The days of consensus are way way in the past now and it's two different political languages.

But a clear out isn't going to happen so this is the path we travel down....So in keeping with the utter contemptuous behaviour of the Democrats during Trump's presidency I fully support him being as difficult as he wants.

Walls are expensive, inefficient relics of yesterday's solutions to problems like this. They are the simplistic answer of simple men to a complex problem.

Walls can be by-passed. Unless you also build watch towers with armed guards ready to shoot they can be climbed, tunnelled under or flown over. Routes by sea work too, as we know only too well.

The long term solution is, as it is for us too, to remove the desire. No-one wants to leave their home, pay shed loads of money to traffickers for an uncertain outcome. So cure whatever is creating the desire, alongside opening legal routes for those you want and firm policies of removal for those you don't.
