If we signed Kane, I wonder how long before he would start? I’m putting Mateta up there. Bet Benteke starts. Madness.

Kane??

Roy would have him take corners if he was with us!!

On a positive note, my programme has actually just arrived on time

But as for the game, Wolves are not that great at the moment and they should be there for the taking, but we won’t, 0-1 to them I’m afraid

In other words, they will beat us easily and we can expect another pathetic performance from the Dad's Army of the premier league.

It is only a couple of days ago they held Chelsea to a goalless draw at Stamford Bridge - we were trashed there! At least let us hope the gaffer put out a team with some guts, enthusiasm, and fighting spirit today. Seeing Benteke and Townsend must make Zaha and Eze think: "No, not again!"

I have been Palace now for over 55years and will never change. I don't want to.
For years I've spent many a pre-match contemplating team selection, tactics, whether so-and-so will at last return to form etc.
I now find it hard to think about match detail, rather what mood I'll be in at 10mins/20mins/HT/FT into the game.
Will my w/e be a happy one or another depression that will last till Tuesday?
All I want is to see my team play well. Is that too much to ask?
It does happen.
COYP! ..... PLEASE!

We move in the direction of our thoughts.
Just think a little.

Newcastle have predictably come back to form just before we play them, this game today seems pretty important and we could really do with the three points. Let’s be optimistic 2-1
