How the hell do you put a performance like that into context. Yet another total embarrassment, and it is plainly obvious that this football team cannot function without Zaha no wonder he wants out. , Leeds had more knowledge better attitude a desire to win. That in my eyes comes from a manager and players who wants to win, not that it took much effort to beat us again. How long is this club and I mean the board of directors the chairman going to kid itself that this club is moving forward under Hodgson, Hodgson is as stale as it comes.
I would love to know what tactics if any Hodgson set about in training for this match, and injuries are no excuse, every team has injuries players out basically the manager tactics training methods and how to pick out other teams weaknesses that how you win matches.
We have a team captain that ranks along side Hodgson, that pass in the first half was totally unbelievable from a player with premierships experience.

Are you saying Luca is the only Premiership player to make a bad pass. I suggest you don't watch other games.

when Hodgson started to manage Benteke, and Michy their goals dried up and we blamed them. Watch Mateta's goals dry up too and we will blame him. Well other managers got more from these guys.No one ever blames the ole geezer for his outdated, stale tactics. Since when has longevity on its own been a signe of future progress in an ever evolving game? Its like groping in the dark with a lantern attached at the back of your head facing backwards. Thats Palace under Hodgson

I think you'll find plenty who do.

Look it's simple, Roy will hobble us over the line and keep us up in the league.

Leeds were good for their win although we did have our own half chances even though our overall pattern of play was dire.

It's been said multiple times before but we need to look beyond this season, starting with the manager. Thomas Frank is a good shout as he's spent most of his career working with youth so should have a sharp eye for talent and untapped potential. We should be focused on value-add players not "name brands" that will lower our wage bill without a drop off in performance. The problem is that there's no Premier league experience and this league is unforgiving. Plus he's more than likely to get promoted with Brentford and why leave after the fact.

Then there's Eddie Howe, not everyone's cup of tea but premier league experience, likes to play attacking football and currently available. I actually think he's good with youth but struggled on man management of "bigger" stars (e.g. Defoe, begovic, fraser) so wonder how Zaha and him would combine.

Another coup option to consider is Andre Villas-Boas. Just left Marseille, ex Chelsea and Spurs and can adapt to Palace's current style whilst putting his own authority on the team.

I'm hoping Parish is reading this and forward planning now so here's a start!

Someone mentioned to me that we could have had 2 world class strikers out there tonight and they wouldn't have made any impact.

He also opined that if Mr Hodgson had been managing Leeds with their current players they would not be serving up the football that has impressed many this season.

At least Andros injected a bit of urgency.

If urgency is deemed as sprinting round like a headless chicken when you have'nt got the ball, & overhitting every cross then I make you right. Granted one cross & one cross only all season that landed on Bentekes head, Ben was probably so shocked that was why he couldn't do better.

I’d love to know what Parish is thinking after that performance, knowing that Roy’s contract is up end of this season.

He might be content as a chairman working with super-professional Roy who won’t ever complain and makes few demands whilst guaranteeing safety, but as a fan he must be frustrated.

It’s a massive summer for Parish, working out which way to turn at the crossroads we currently find ourselves at. If he has any ambition (which I’m sure he does), then he’ll want to progress the club in terms of attraction and modernise the football, albeit cautiously having tried this before with de Boer.

I know Sheff Utd, West Brom and Fulham fans would bite their hand off to be in our position but I’m really worried. Not about this season necessarily but for my club’s future.

It's a team game not a one man game.

I suggest you go and take a look at his stats here is some which matter

19/20 4 goals and 5 assists
18/19 10 - 10
17/18 9 - 5
17/16 7 - 11
16/15 2 - 5
15/14 4 - 2

Yeah he is really the one man keeping us up for a player so highly rated those stats stink which is why none of the big boys are interested in him plus he has an attitude problem.

Why cant you accept hes our best player. He has been for a while now. Without him we probably wouldnt have got promoted and he has been carrying this team for a while. Maybe not always by scoring but winning penalties and occupying multiple defenders to make space. Its not ideal to rely so much on one player but its our reality.

In his after match comments, Mr Hodgson said that Leeds were a "Good Team".
A team that prior to tonight's comfortable victory were 15th in the league based on Home results and who had lost their previous 2 games at Elland Road.

He also mentioned about the pitch saying it was the same for both sides but didn't help when chasing the game.
My response is that we were in the position of course due to a despicable display.

It was 2-0 but the result didn't reflect Leeds' superiority. It should have been 5-0 as they missed some good chances thanks in part to abject defending at set-pieces by Milivojevic.
A shameful and unacceptable performance.

No I am not, Luke is a defensive midfielder that is his roll in the team, I would expect that pass from a player with little or no experience. There has been a few posts comments on Hols regarding Luca performances over the last couple of seasons this is not the first pass he has made like that and won’t be he’s last.
