we are the equivalent of swansea, sunderland etc on a sunday matchday.(when they were Prem) My old retired father in law watches every premier league game all the way through, back to back, one after the other. He sits through any old s***, but even he turns us off now!!

What, that the players are hopelessly unable to cope against better organised sides, that's the same as saying it's down to the players and not the manager lol, this thread is exactly the same as the roy out. Jesus! You even manage to misconstrue a short paragraph.

Spot on and the reason for the thread's title. Some blame Roy, others the weakness of the squad. We'll forever debate that one. But what you say is undeniably true. Thanks you Hamster, i'm glad some people get it. It is a sad fact that too many teams are out playing us. You can accept the top 6 but in recent weeks West Ham and now Leeds have shown us what an organised team with a clear structure and game plan can do - both should have scored 5 against us, both results flattered us. As a team we appear slow, dis-organised and with no clear game plan. Earlier in the season Villa did it with 10 men and even the home defeat against Newcastle was against a team depleted by covid. Of the teams outside the bottom 3 i'd say we are now comparable with Newcastle and Burnley. Other mid table teams such as Villa, Southampton, Wolves, Leeds and West Ham have left us behind

I turned us off at one nil against Leeds. I didn't watch us against Wolves. I am sick of the lack of effort and little entertainment. We are the most boring team I've ever seen. Yet we have two talented exciting players. What a waste.

It amazes me we’re actually so many points clear of the relegation zone and we were only a win from breaking into the top 10, because we really do look awful sometimes. Liverpool twice, Chelsea, Man.City, Villa,Leeds and even Brighton have totally outclassed us., so much so, it’s embarrassingly one sided. Yes we got a point against Brighton, but even they should’ve wiped the floor with us. We just do enough against sides down the bottom to keep us out of trouble, but as soon as we come against anyone half decent, we look poor, lifeless and unable to compete Add Burnley to that list. The Weed coming around the corner soon to be added.
