Wish people didn't go on about our injured players.

Yes we have more than any other team but I can think of only 3 who are significant - Zaha, Tomkins and McArthur.

Zaha I expect to be out for next 2 or 3, Tomkins looks like being out for the season, McArthur I have no news but hope he will be back soon - apart from Riedewald McArthur is the only midfielder who shows any fight or compassion. When he's fit give him the armband and drop Luka permanently because he is no captain and now, not much of a player either.

We need motivated players, not the abject spineless lot we have at the moment. If this isn't corrected then, yes, we will go down.

Man and boy Palace since my first game in 1948 sitting on my dad's shoulders

I'd add Schlupp to that, one of our few players who has some athleticism, drives forward and can have a reasonable dig on goal.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

So the general feeling here seems to be that without Wilf we might as well not turn up to games and we should form opinions based on our last one or two games.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

I don't think that's what I or others have said. As I read it many opinions on here are based on our appalling record when Wilf isn't playing and the last two games have more than epitomised what a Wilfless Palace look like, especially when allied to an apparent lack of interest or fight.

I wholeheartedly agree.
In my humble opinion we are a far better side when Zaha,Tomkins,Schlupp and McArthur are playing.

How about you re-check the stats before chiming in with a sarcastic comment. 20 games without Zaha. 18 defeats. 16 games without scoring.

Most sensible fans know that without Wilf and under the current management, the odds of us picking up points are slim.

There is a very good chance Wilf will be playing Monday.

Speculation of course but you could add ferguson to the list. If he'd been fit, and at least as good as Mitchell, playing regularly alongside Eze and with Mateta arriving, suddenly it looks a lot less like an old folks home and more like a team with a future.

Any evidence to back this up?

Fair enough, not sure that constitutes a return but my god that would boost my feelings about the fixture
