It"s the Uberisation of the workplace, non tax paying foreign companies coming over here, with the governments consent and help(obviously nothing is free old chap),business men getting great bank, joe bloggs getting his career ruined and nobody gives a stuff, until it knocks on there door! I warned about this 5 years ago and its coming to bite, corruption and business are now hand in hand openly, look at Cameron, osborne and boris with Uber, and Camerons latest scandal, yet nobody cares! The job market for the majority in years to come will be an easy choice, ride for uber eats or deliveroo! You can do a gcse in cycling with a backpack on, no chance of ever owning a property this side of hartlepool, and even hull will be hard to get in to as choices get limited.Greed is good as boris said the other week, among his cronies, its a race to the bottom people, its coming to us all soon, or our children!

I'm with Stirling.

Oh I can give it back when necessary but I don't think I start it or descend to the levels of personal insult which are Stirling's stock-in-trade. It always starts with me offering a contrary critique of one of his comments which he cannot answer in any other way.

I don't like far right politics and will criticise them objectively whenever I encounter them. It's not restricted to Stirling. He just happens to be the most frequent and worst offender here.

Somewhere, in a parallel universe a very long way from here, sprites and wisbech eagle make sense. Apparently.

Well you are right to a degree as Sprites is in New Zealand and whilst I was also there 3 years ago I am now in lovely Cornwall. Both are beautiful but we would make sense to those who are sensible wherever we would be.

So it’s fine for everyone who wants to come here except when they become cab drivers.

I don't know anyone on here who does far right politics.
I do know someone who shares a Cornish bubble with a couple of sheep and preaches to the rest of us about the merits of multi culture and mass immigration.

We have members of Patriotic Alternative who post regularly on this site. I would say that’s pretty far right.

I would say three things.

1 First I have never heard of them.
2 I have no idea who belongs to them
3 Given 1 and 2, I cannot be sure of the validity of the description 'far right' to describe them.

People on the far right never think they stand there. They always believe they hold the centre of conservative thought. From my perspective there are a number posting here who more than deserve that description. If there are any views further to the right then they would probably be illegal.

I share my bubble with my wife, who is definitely not a sheep. I have never, and I really mean never, preached to anyone about the merits of multi-culture and mass immigration. I have criticised unrealistic and unreasonable attitudes and encouraged the acceptance of being where we are. Which is very different.

I wouldn't decry your 'acceptance of being where we are' since that is a given. What is not, is accepting it quietly. There are areas where continued objection is justified and necessary.
The far right is a perceptual and relative position. It shifts depending on where you think you stand and the politics of the day. When I say politics,I mean the zeitgeist that the media, and those who influence it, decide is going to be pushed upon the population.

I can't speak for anyone else, but my opinions, albeit expressed in a limited fashion on here, are miles away from the traditional description of far right politics.

You on the other hand claim to be some sort of conservative but sound like anything but.

Ha, no, companies that come here should abide by the laws of the land, and not be given a "shoe in", by our sitting pm, chancellor and London mayor for hundreds of thousands of shares in said company! They should also abide by our working rights and pay their tax, something Uber weren"t doing, until last weeks court ruling. It shows the importance of a good union, without them those Uber drivers would be on about £3 an hour, pre pandemic! My interest obviously stems from it affecting my job, but the same can happen anywhere, the main point was the fact that the sitting pm, London mayor now pm, and chancellor were all complicit and got well rewarded for illegal activity, its a race to the bottom and nobody cares, until it knocks on their door!

Imagine any builders might have a point to make on the subject.
