According to last years accounts we recorded a loss of 54m. Unless the Americans are willing to put money in, we are pretty skint.

Well the 'loss' you speak of is largely made up of loans the Americans have put in so that kind of answers your own question.
Parish mentioned recently the so called debt the club is carrying is more paper debt, very manageable and relative to a Premiership club that is run correctly if you want to stay competitive. Just as you would not spend 300m replacing an entire team in one season you equally would not blow your entire annual income wiping out an interest free loan. That is unless the Americans demanded it. There is no indication whatsoever that that is the case.
In other words, with the income from Sky, BT, Amazon, various legal streaming services, overseas TV rights, sponsorship, Season ticket sales, corporate hospitality, gate reciepts and all other income streams Palace are run carefully and within our means but we are far from skint.

Agreed

Other than a fit Zaha running down the wing, nothing happens fast at the Palace.

I've come to this thread extremely late, and the answers to my questions may already have been well aired.

Anyway, what reason(s)did Nuno give for leaving Wolves, a club where he was apparently idolised?

And what was his real reason for leaving, particularly as he seems not to have had anything else lined up?

Has anybody noticed how all the click-bait sites have gone VERY quiet on our manager search. Can someone on here mention a an out of work manager & then everyone gets excited about it & we'll see how quick the click-bait site latch on to it.

Is now OFFICIALLY retired.

If you go back a few pages the answer is did he jump or was he pushed. My belief based on hearsay is he jumped but only because he was about to be pushed. Just like the managerial options available to us there will be beliefs on either side.

Just retired and almost mastered decorating but haven't learned to garden yet

I think people may be surprised with the way Dyche can get a team to play, given the right type of players. I would be happy with him

I share this view and there have been very decent Burnley performances this season and in previous years which support the view that he is playing a style to suit the ability of his squad.
Maybe Dyche himself is looking to break that stereotype?

I think he would be a very good fit for us.

Yes indeed I do agree he may of shown his true colours and the whole situation has made me more wary of him, although I still think he would do amazing things for us.

We're waiting for Watford to sack their manager, so give it a week.

I used to put the manager's name in front of Red and Blue but got fed up with changing it. If someone cool becomes our manager then maybe..

Red and Blue Army!

Without wishing to be pendantic the loans are not connected to the loss in any way. The only way they would influence the loss is with the interest, which would be an operating cost.
