Perhaps Vieira is playing a blinder. He told Parish that he'd sign, and yesterday told him he wouldn't. Parish is panicking because this makes him look like an even bigger curnt after the last two knocked him back, and is throwing money at him, whilst Vieira sits there with a cigar in his mouth, shouting 'higher, higher' like a contestant on 'play your cards right' When he finally gets the exorbitant fee he's after, he then makes Parish run round the training ground in the buff just to seal the deal.

So have the players who have been " offered a new contract" accepted per your source? If yes then presumably they would have been there for testing today which if there is any truth in the Standard piece, they were not. Press announce signings or managerial appointments and it takes several days longer for the official announcement, if it ever even comes. We are the only club who consistently do that. All these out of contract players in limbo, and still no manager. Absolutely piss poor performance yet again from Parish and co. Schoolboys who will never learn apparently.
