I used to eat Phal's but a long time now since I last had one. Hottest I've ever had was at the Weymouth Tandoori. On holiday some years back, my mate Kevin and I did our usual and ordered 2 between us. He took one mouthful and couldn't eat it. So I ate the lot. The next day was his wife's birthday. We were at the pub for opening time and I was at the bar about to order when the ' trouble ' started. I had to quickly excuse myself and minced back to our accommodation where I spent the next hour and a half regretting playing the tough guy the night before.... I like a bit of self-awareness. I've never liked to mention your walk before.
Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry. |

I'd just like to say that I've never known the topic of Worthing generate so much discussion.....ever. But, I guess you can always rely on a curry to give you a good run.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

Plenty of Palace in the area, but no friendly pubs as such, although Mezzer and I were tolerated in the Sussex in Hove even though it was run by a Brighton season ticker holder

Only the weekend before last I availed of the hospitality of a local public house which has a Palace supporting manager and a very nice chap who is also a supporter of our club arrived and sat with us.There was also another supporter seated at a different table. We are everywhere down here on the coast!! The Smugglers Return between Lancing and Worthing. It is lively, they have a lot of live music and a few Ska nights check out the The Gangsters. Also lots of live sport. Worth a look. Edited by Apollofuzz (06 May 2021 10.35am)
