Didn’t even bother reading. Sick of the moaning and abuse hurled at club heroes who are doing their best.

You are amusing.

So you think it’s ok to be a week away from preseason, having had months to sort this out, and have no manager? During a period of massive squad upheaval no less.

If this Parish’s “best” I would hate to see his worst.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

I don't blame them either unless they've spent three days interviewing, have agreed a contract on the basis of which they've asked for a work permit, and they've verbally indicated they're going to accept the job. Then, I blame them.

The trouble with that is that we've only heard one side of the story. Maybe Nuno's and Favre's side of the story might not be quite the same

I think Palace’s version relating to Nuno is possibly near the truth, as similar happened at Everton. However, I cannot believe the Favre reasoning. If he wanted a longer break, he would not have even spoken to the Club. There was something that arose, late on, that had not been divulged before, actual transfer funds? Transfer targets? Dougie’s role? I doubt we will ever know
In a bizarre way I hoped he pitched up at another club, Everton or Spurs. At least then it could not be attributed to a problem at Palace, unfortunately there obviously is a problem

I wonder how the Eddie Howe version of the discussions with Parish mentioned in the WED documentary would compare with the Parish version.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

I cannot understand why anyone thinks its a bad thing that the contract situation is bad, its 11 players,
Sakho, Batshuayi ,Clyne, Dann, Wickham, PVA, McCarthy, Ward, Hennessey, Townsend And Cahill,
Only the last too might be worth keeping
The other players are finished anyway, The saving on wages is 700k a week, 37million a year,
There is some very good young players knocking on the door, Partially in my view Rich-Baghuelou, Rak-Sakyi and Hannam,
3 loan stops are available, CD, RB, AM,
All is not Awful, if it is Cooper (who wouldn't be my Choice) he must be backed 100% by Players, Staff, and fans until he has been given a fair chance

I don’t think it’s ideal, but I also don’t think it’s as black and white as Parish is a failure etc. Sounds like he’s been hard done by twice...not much he can do about ridiculous demands on Nuno’s part of personal decisions on Favre’s.

OK I get that there are other clubs who like us are looking for managers. That does make our quest harder as those clubs (Everton and Spurs) are financially better placed than us.

But what does seem an issue is the sheer number of what have been key players who have been allowed to run down their contracts and who can leave for nothing. OK Wickham is a load off the wage bill but others are key players.

These players will not want the uncertainty of no manager and will now also want a nice signing on fee to re sign. That is poor management.

I also would guess that whilst we do need to rebuild, there is little actual money to do it.

All the signs in recent transfer activity are of a club that is simply skint.

Running any business should involve a bit of forward planning and future forecasting. From where I stand that may be an issue.

But there are others I know who do believe Mr Parish can do no wrong. But equally they also probably believe Simon Jordan was an ace business man and bought back Selhurst Park.

All of whom are over 30 years old!

I think it is a useful exercise to look at the previous managers experiences and how things ended up.
It seems to me that Parish is very much part of the problem.

Yet if the media are to be believed we are in for 30 year old Aaron Ramsey

I agree with you on both counts. Firstly that something transpired during the negotiations and secondly that we will never likely know the truth - only Parish's version of it

I'd say that knowing you would be managerless before the end of the season, and not having anyone in place just before pre season qualifies as mis management.
This should have been sorted out weeks ago.

Do you think his current wages of £400k a week, would be a stumbling block?
