They aren't even EU nationals. They are the family members of EU nationals who have been granted settled status under the EUSS. Those family members are nationals from outside the EU but are being granted benefits that those whose family is British cannot avail. It's very complicated and so far is under the radar.

As I have said many times before, pre-Brexit, non-eu family members were afforded better treatment than those of UK Citizens. May I assume that to get your wife a visa, you had to produce many documents relating to maintenance and accommodation. You would also have had to pay a large amount of money. If however you were a Spanish national living in the UK, her visa would have been gratis and you would not have had to produce evidence of maintenance and accommodation.
I know little about the benefit system but they had advantages pre- brexit

Bulls***. I work for a supermarket. No prices have risen steeply since January 2020 and no shelves are empty. I think it's you that's living in an alternative reality, pal.

Plenty of empty shelves in my local Sainsbury yesterday in the fresh stuff.

It's similar to the EU and Europe situation, where they are used interchangeably when they are not the same thing.

So you're a pro China commentator yet you recognise it has human rights abuses?

Sure, maybe not everything Orban does is great or a perfect situation. But the EU is not a unified state with one voice......and without Orban Hungary would lose its culture and its people would becomes minorities in their own cities....and be called racist for objecting to it.

Not everyone wants their Police to drive around painted in the rainbow flag.

Still upset about the paint job on a police car snowflake?

Maybe they should look at the competence of those doing the ordering or perhaps the delivery was late due to traffic? Who knows, I don’t but nor do you.

Yes that is definitely the issue here.

Supply chains globally are f*cked and we voluntarily made ours even more f*cked. What’s your point?

The clue is “Globally”. Lockdown for a year + and there are shortages. Weird.

Reading the last line he wrote is optional.
Clearly you didnt are happy with the police. Some aren't overly enamoured. Calling people names for having a different opinion to yours is a little strange. Never mind though!

Yep, Covid has f*cked them and then we’ve chucked more sh*t into the mix. Like having your leg broken and then shooting yourself in the other one.

Yep, looks that way, covid covering up the damage caused by brexit:

"Retailers, producers and restaurants are all being hit by the shortages, which are the result of Covid-related absences as well as European Union workers leaving the country due to Brexit.

An estimated 25,000 EU drivers returned home during the pandemic and following the end of the transition period.

Then there should be far more housing and GP appointments available with this obvious mass exodus. Also absolutely no excuse to be on the dole.

I used to put the manager's name in front of Red and Blue but got fed up with changing it. If someone cool becomes our manager then maybe..

Red and Blue Army!
