I’m going by what I read. If it is raw foul water then yes it’s very wrong. Although it won’t take long for it to clear it’s still wrong. Why has my voting preference got to do with this particular issue. In life you delegate responsibility to others and hope they use due diligence and correct actions. Do you honestly think that hmg gave the green light to do this. Hmg delegate as do all political parties. The nhs is overseen by politics but decisions are made farther down the food chain for an example. It’s not necessarily what the government of the day want to happen within departments but it’s the way it is.

The police do it and have murderers and rapists in their ranks and make far greater mistakes.

Yes, no one has a divine right to anything. However, you don't pay your taxes...that have been considerably increased over the years for most of us....so that your standard of living lowers.

That at the very least gives cause for inquiry. The question could be asked just what practical improvements have been gained from the last generation of government? Hasn't it just been managed decline? Lots of waffle and arguing about tax levels while everything else burns.

That's indicative of managerial failure, which in turn is indicative of problems within the meritocratic system.

For example, the idea that we should have no expectation that technology moves forward and improves just isn't countenanced by people....Mainly because we expect it to improve because money is invested within it....and it continually improves.

While this isn't the only problem I have with them, nevertheless, likewise with our politicians....the thought should occur to people of where the funding money at the high level comes from. Where the future jobs for these politicans will be...what their incentives are...where their motivations and loyalties are bound to.
