That wasn't me.

I wouldn't wear a football shirt outside of being at a match and I've never owned a motor bike.

If you had met me during my free time fifteen years ago I'd have probably been in shapers.

I would never have imagined this being normal outdoor wear in Wisbech..... although on second thoughts.

Much more interesting news from Europe but I bet Farage didn’t feature it on his daily political party broadcast.

In the last week I have been in conversation with a plethora of members, most of a certain vintage, and there was enmity and fulmination towards politically motivated campaigns and the level of taxation imposed by the Government.

I am informed today that there has been a letter signed by 40 Conservative MPs calling for the defunding of the campaigns.
Signatories included Andrew Bridgen, David Davis, Iain Duncan Smith, Esther McVey etc.

Yeah, it must have been that sentence which I never wrote where I said Fauci was the only person on the payroll to push lockdowns.

Perhaps when you finish making strawmen you could light one up. It might provide some heat for some pensioners that your supported policies are leaving cold this winter.

As for the university of Bath and modelling.....well, as the modelling during covid produced some of the worse projections I've ever heard....let's just say I'm highly skeptical.

I said from the start that the cure was worse than the disease and I and others are being proven right. There is no pleasure in it.

Please use English spelling.

As usual you are asking me not to confuse you with facts. Generally I like to leave you alone to enjoy your world of make-believe. You are not being proved right and occasionally I do like to point out to your adoring audience that you really don’t have a clue when you attempt to re-enter the real world.

As for covid, well everyone has a take. I tend to think the first lockdown of course makes sense, and beyond that no so much. We feel the consequence of those mistakes on multiple levels.

A bit confused by this. So I’ll take it as a compliment. Thank you

That was the irony of covid. We protected those who realistically didn't need protetcion.. for years, and unfortunately the vulnerable were the ones who took the hit and were less protected.

I was going to say the ones we let down, but I think how covid panned out was just the nature of how it would again. It takes time to introduce tests which aren't 100%, and vaccines and by that time, due to the nature of care jobs it's often too late. There are lessons to be learned but it's hard to hermetically seal these places and their often low paid workers.

As we see with China, and especially viewing that experience in retrospect and now from the outside, there as a futility to attemtping to fend off the inevitable.

Care homes were dreadfully let down. Those that had nursing were forced to take people with Covid due to fear hospitals would overload. They wouldn’t have. But the effect was to sign a death warrant for huge swathes of care home residents.

We managed to hold back the disease sufficiently to allow doctors to learn how to treat it and also develop a vaccine. Then we released the controls. China hasn’t had enough success in vaccinations and hasn’t allowed much build up of natural immunity. It looks like in the end we got the balance right, but for a couple of enormous clangers. We should have had the firebreak when the medics asked too. Many lives were lost through arrogance and incompetence.

I never fancied grumpy, I was always more into snow white.

It would be nice if your commitment to the English matched your commitment to its spelling Mr Internationalist.
