My point is its a deflection on the state of the current government Teddy, taking pressure off the real issues. The Grenfell inquiry is coming to an end and will show a cover up by the government on what they knew about the dangers. The people up north with no electric-for 8 days, the price rises, inflation, party in number 10 while telling people not to mix, the 47 billion, the list is endless. So to say we are going to sort out drug gangs- give us 10 years and we will prove it- is laughable.

I don't think any one is surprised - the double-standard around reporting and indeed prosecution for drug use between the poor and the middle class is a disgrace.

Yep, it definitely feels like a bit of a desperate attempt to pick up some traction with the electorate - going after those nasty scary drug gangs, although not the ones who supply their private school parties obviously.

If you really want to sort out drug gangs, decriminalise and remove the need for the gangs to exist - quite simple really.
