We are dire. We're afraid to make a forward pass, allowing their defence ages to cover. One shot on target - at the goalie. PV will need to show his worth come HT.

Absolute s*** so far and shambolic from Butland. What was he thinking? Get Benteke on to bully their defenders, need his physicality in a game like this. I think Mateta’s pace has a big part to play in this yet. We seem to be coming more into the game now.
