Someone was saying that Benteke doesn't have a Kane like contract. I thought Kane was on 120k a week? Benteke was too, make of that what you will.

I know you always need to have the last word but just for clarity - there was never any 'evidence' he was on £120k a week. A few papers may have mentioned it and the rumour was he was one of Liverpool's highest paid players when we signed him, however, neither Palace nor Liverpool has ever published his wage. So it is all guess work, although clearly some more educated than others. To state he is still on the same salary based on the available evidence is merely saying that no newspapers have printed any numbers since we originally signed him and that was always a guesstimate.
