Not diverting from anything. I'm saying what happens in countries where 'considerations' don't matter one bit (or are even seen as a negative), compared to where they do (pointing out the sometimes downside to this too, funnily enough). You certainly have a bigger issue with the latter than the former, attested to by your ongoing unhealthy fixation on doing down black people and indeed your reply here.

I've been engaged in arguments with plenty of intelligent people on the left. When it comes down to it there are only empathy arguments for their politics.....but because it's been a feminised society for decades that's all it needed to win.

Those on the left who are closer to honest communists are more complex and you can see interesting perspectives. But with the less intelligent ones a lot of the time you end up with simplistic waffling about Nazis (as if actual Nazis are a thing) because they can only deal with your worldview if they see you as evil.

Most just have a worldview that is a mixture of nihilism and egalitarianism which constitutes modern neo liberalism and it isn't going to change regardless of what the results are...Well, until it negatively affects them personally.....I use to be one of them...many on the dissident right were so we know them better than they think.

While I have sympathy for what Matov is saying I do think you can talk to the more libertarian left ones....the less narcissistic and emotional ones that is....some flatter to deceive.

With the moral crusaders, they are off on their horse searching for fantasy dragons and they aren't that bothered about the actual realities. It's about the virtue signal.

But there are many topics where there is agreement with sensible people and not everything has to be about areas of discord......I think purity spiralling hurts everyone, whether it's on the left or right and an acceptance of difference is just adult discussion.
