Thanks for the explanation.

At least we've still got a Conservative government to show us how it should be done.

You might have a 'conservative' government.

But you don't have a right wing party.....only on economics....well actually maybe not even there.

Essentially we have a choice between Tony Blairism and wokism.

That's not a choice I'm going to flatter with a vote.

In due course people that were considered heroes may lose their places on high pedestals as the long-term effects of their actions are considered anew.

Those that write history have a huge power but potentially only for a limited period. Unless we all get exposed to Speedlearn (see The Prisoner episode named The General). This appears to be what is happening to all sides at the moment regarding Ukraine.

I think the problem is that mistakes have been made and are continuing to be made, and all we are left to do is discuss the disastrous fallout and how we can fix it.

Meanwhile, many people learn history through the TV which is infested with left wing bias. They want to convince us that decisions that would have been rejected as folly by the majority are somehow progressive and positive, despite the clear evidence to the contrary.

Maybe not right-wing by Hol's standards, but certainly in the real world.

Starmer and Labour have done everything they can to move away from the Labour left, despite the popularity of Corbyn within the membership.

We at least have that in common - I didn't vote last time and I doubt I will next time.

Yes. Everyone on the TV, along with so called experts like Doctors and Professors, just can’t spot the obvious in the way that you can

You will, of course, end up on the right side of history. Just before the last few white people are sent to the salt mines

The real world contains people far more right wing than me or anyone else I've seen on Hol.

I keep hearing that but personally I haven't seen any difference in actual policies.......just seems like presentation to me.

They are still the party that kneels and who can't describe what a women is.

Yes, a few. Not very many though. AZOV and Jobbik spring to mind.

Still, keep it up and eventually you will win the mantle to which you so aspire.

A women? Did you mean a wimmin? I think you'll find it has a very clear definition of a woman, as seen on Politics Live today from Stella Creasy. And guess what, the Tory (Andrew Bowie) agreed with it. Made Chris Hope from The Telegraph look pretty foolish TBH. The element towards the end about trans people was very interesting and enlightening, I suggest you take a look.

Some people are born with c*cks, some people are just c*cks.

I don't have a BBC license, so I won't be watching iplayer links I'm afraid....still it's a change from your al jazeera fixation.

I would actually like to hear what Labour's definition of a woman is....as you have made it plain that they now have one.

If a Tory agreed with it that means nothing to me.....they are not a right wing party.

But you are welcome to paste that description.

Yet if the woman aborts his child that he would support, he has no say and it's considered wrong to have an issue.

That's funny.

I do think that most people on TV are bound to avoid saying what they actually think because they want to keep their jobs.
Historians tend to be Leftists because Universities are infested with them.

It is rather naive to think that 'experts' are always right, or that decisions are always made based on the common good.

You can use the old 'you always think you know better than the experts' routine, but the judgement of choices made are in the results, not in who makes them.
