I have never understood why people get so upset over things like this. No one is suggesting this guy cannot hold, express or write scripts about his opinions. All they are doing is saying they don’t want them heard in their space. Other spaces are available, including the free ones available to everyone where you can say whatever you like, so long as you stay within the law. The same applies to social media platforms which remove things they don’t want to be associated with. He who pays the piper calls the tune. It would be both illogical and totally unreasonable for it to be unlawful for any individual or business to refuse to book, or publish, someone, or something, that in their opinion could harm them. Opinions do matter. Including those of the owners of spaces.
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |

If you read the article you would see a legal opinion that the cancellation is likely to constitute unlawful discrimination. Anybody who faces prejudice and discrimination in any given place should just go elsewhere, there are other locations available. What a noble stance to take.

I've never understood why people get so upset by others not having the Covid vaccine but some people are just intolerant of any opinion other than their own.
