As the OP lives in Hinckley, Chiltern Trains are no use he needs to travel as follows:
Depart Hinckley 10.28 arrive Leicester 10.48.
Depart Leicester 11.44 arrive London St Pancras 12.55
then Hammersmith and City line to Baker Street change onto Bakerloo line (one stop) to Marylebone.
Depart Marylebone 13.53 arrive Wembley Stadium 14.02.
Hope he reads this and is of use.
Or drive to Birmingham and go from there.

There are NO trains from MK to Euston & vice versa, so going to B'ham will be a waste of time.

Yep Metropolitan line is shut ffs, jubilee line it is,not as quick as the Metropolitan line but better than nothing.

Met line is NOT shut. Amersham and Chesham to Baker Street routes are running once every 30 minutes in both directions, while Uxbridge to Aldgate and Watford to Baker Street are both running once every 15 minutes.

This is absolutely fine because if everyone thinks it's shut there will be no one on the train. Winning

You might want to check out the service status for the Metropolitan line according to TFL they are running a special service until the summer. I saw something about all the trains have a problem ?

It's running. Every 15 or 30 depending on route.

In fact, having checked on the TFL route planner, every 8 mins or so from Farringdon to Wembley park. So absolutely fine

There may not be such trains, but there ARE trains from Birmingham to Marylebone, are there not?
