Good luck to them, finding another manager who'll find PL success there on a budget lower then some pub fruit machine winnings I've had since his appointment.

On the plus side, I had a quiet and resentful admiration for Dyche as I am sure many would. With him gone now, I can wholeheartedly hate Burnley as I've always yearned to do and rejoice at their relegation(s)... could well be plural in a few years time.

For me the timing of David Unsworth leaving Everton couple days ago to try for a managers position somewhere & this news about Dyche being sacked this morning is too coincidental.

They were going down whoever is in charge. Dyche would have got them up next season - strange decision?

It does seem odd I agree; however, surely they would not replace Dyche with David Unsworth?

Not really, 5 of the bottom 6 have relieved their manager of their duties, Dyche makes 6 out of 6. Its a results business, Dyche stopped getting results, so the board didnt want to go down doing nothing, bit late in my opinion.
Dyche is a dinosaur manager, that hasnt moved with the times. Thank god Parish didnt tempt him to come to Palace last summer.

At least the Norwich fans can claim to have had an impact this time round. Rafa Benitez, Everton and Claudio Ranieri, Watford. And now Sean Dyche, Burnley, all sacked after losing to the Canaries. Not much consolation, but someone might know if that's a record for one club.

Systematically dragged down by the lawmakers

4 wins all season and just lost to the worst team in the league, we all wanted shot of Hodgson for winning more than double that and keeping us up easily, can't understand the shock

Its odd & no mistake, I wonder if SD was too much of a realist for the new owners, he went to the owners & said you need 2 plans in place, one for if we stay up & one for if we go down - the owners took that as a sign of defeatism (rather than realism) & on the back of that they went looking for someone who told them something closer to what they wanted to hear -

Just a suggestion -

The man who said Watford for SD has probably got it right. Lives near by I think. If he's given some time could do a decent job there.
