The parade of senior Labour figures who confidently assured in interviews that " more fines to come " to justify whatever BS they were peddling, oh dear.

White van snobbist Jabba the Thornberry was the worst.

When you look at the Shadow Cabinet and try to pick a potential leader who would be effective, it's difficult.

Shallow more than Shadow

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

Wes Streeting seems to be the name in the frame at the moment. Full on Blairite, a leading proponent of the 'Peoples Vote' and seems to manage to be both co-chair of the Parliamentary group on British Jews and also co-chair of the Parliamentary group on British Muslims. Plus a homosexual. Ticks a lot of boxes.

He sounds like progressive catnip.

He is. Which makes me wonder. Because can such a leader actually win back seats for Labour up in the North?

However, when it comes to putting together a 'Progressive Alliance'....

There's no bandwagon he won't jump on for sure

Labour still can't bring themselves to have a female leader, which I get at the moment because there are no female viable candidates.

I would love to see Rayner as leader

If it was possible to be a more odious specimen than Johnson, then surely Scott Morrison would qualify.

Just lost the Australian general election to Labour.

Good on yer' Aussies.

You see it is not a crime against humanity to think that conservatives are incompetent or corrupt, hold them to account and dispatch them.

The one that replaced him looks like a proper Pratt but we'll soon see. Despite all the talk, I guarantee he won't be opening up the borders or getting rid of the mining companies. I'm wondering what you think he's going to do? How will he be better?

Big changes on climate, like recognising it exists.....

Actually I'm just glad Labour won something, it feels more possible now.
