That’s simply because everyone is getting bored/anxious at perceived non activity in the transfer market/window - calm down...!! I have absolute faith that things are happening - probably have already happened but not announced - as Dazza has alluded to..!! The Board, PV and Freedman will have identified where things need strengthening - it’s not rocket science: a right back, another centre half, a CDM and possibly a forward. Then looks like we’re looking at shipping out Butland for Johnstone. Maybe a few others but will depend on availability, opportunity and the right terms - on that I haven’t given up hope of seeing Gallagher in the red and blue next season - why - he’s in the England squad and will want regular football to cement his place in the World Cup Squad - I’m not convinced Chelsea can offer/promise regular football for Connor - time will tell. Meantime I like the way we do our Business - quietly but effectively, then only announce when we have something “real” to say - unlike some of the other muppets - Everton for example make me laugh they’re under FFP restrictions but if you believe what you read they’re in for everyone - it’s all click bait they can’t buy anyone in their current position. I look at this way - big dogs don’t bark - until there’s some real action..!! COYP

Makes you think what's going on behind the scenes on the goalkeeping scene. I thought Butland had done quite well, and is Johnstone really an improvement on him? You would think that Palace would like Guaita to stay as number one for at least another year...maybe two....Or maybe he wants to go back to Spain while he still has a couple of years left in him. I think Guaita has definitely been one of the best keepers in the Premiership in recent years and has kept us in games for good points.

Saw we were linked with the Torino Serbian goalkeeper today , Milknkovic-Savic. [Link] not sure the source is too reliable tbf.
And centre back Babic of Almeria Hopefully we get some incomings soon
