How on earth are judgements like this meant to operate as any sort of deterrent?

I wonder if it will affect their prospect of landing any jobs they weren't ever going to be applying for in the first place?

You never know though, their antics may land them a partner of their dreams, a job they love which pays very well, a family, social and community identity/context they relish and a serenity in true knowledge of themselves and their standing in the universe.

If so that'd be great, we can all just behave in an a cowardly, antisocial way to achieve meaning in our lives as opposed to earning it through any arduous endeavours.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

I know! I'd commit any crime if I knew the punishment would see me banned from watching the England cricket team.

I blame Thatcher.
Not only did her policies compel other countries to call us the Dirty Man of Europe, but she also initiated Care in the Community, which has seen actions, like at the cricket and other events, become far more commonplace.

So you are advocating harsher sentences for actions like the cricket?

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.
