There's a big difference in that they can afford to change but don't. The average person can't turn the thermostat on their swimming pool down by half a degree.

I haven't seen any climate Activists in coal-burning Russia or China. Or anywhere near the raging fires of the rainforests of South America.

Is there any reason for that ?

It is an unhappy paradox that "why can't we have our turn at wealth" may kill the earth.

I know what you're saying but even if none of it is exaggerated, then it isn't going to kill the earth.

I should imagine that of all the locations on earth northern Europe will be better than most.

By science do you mean all the ones who agree with the ‘predictions’. The ones who get their living agreeing with doomsday scenarios keeping the cash flowing. Try checking the science of the few who think it’s all bollox. You do know that science, as I’ve stated before doesn’t become the truth because more are saying it. Remember the ones who were mocked when they said the earth was round. Pretty much made into heretics by dint of the truth. No one knows if it’s correct or not. What is true is that the earth is living and is going to adapt as it always has. We are but a thorn in its toe.
