I havent seen RLC all season , is he injured or just not getting picked .

I think if Chelsea were to let him leave (which could possibly happen if they sign the Argentinian lad) I think there might be bigger fish after him like Newcastle, while you'd also imagine Everton would throw their ring into the hat. At Chelsea he seems to be playing deeper which he wasn't very good at for us or WBA. Hopefully his career isn't killed by being a bit part at Chelsea.

While I think this is undoubtedly true, what we have going for us that they don't is most importantly, Vieira's apparently very strong relationship with Conor and also, though perhaps less so, the fact that he's a local lad. If Conor was happy to leave Chelsea after what must have been a somewhat sobering six months, I'd imagine his choice of destination will be more carefully thought out than just "biggest club to come in for me" and the thought of a central role for an emergent local side playing for a manager who's all-in on him at a club where he knows he'll be happy and appreciated may well be appealing. Plus, Conor is very much young enough that two or three good years in the right environment at Palace could yet see him move to a top-four side in his mid-twenties. In October, I'd have said the chances of Conor's return were no better than 5-10%. I'd say it still remains unlikely, but it's probably 25-35% now and trending upwards. I'm 100% sure we'll asking Chelsea the question - at least if we can have him back on loan for the rest of the season with a view to buying in the summer - this week.
