Let’s be honest, we’re no longer looking upwards in the table. We’re in the relegation battle already. It’s Southampton, Bournemouth and anyone from us down. Looking below us the only other team I feel confident we can finish above is Leeds. We need either Edouard or Mateta to start scoring so we can start winning. The odd draw here and there won’t be good enough.

If we’d played Bournemouth twice instead of Man U, Southampton & Leeds instead of Newcastle & Spurs, we could be sitting on 31 points now.

The lack of on field leadership could be resolved with the return, IF it happens, of Jimmy Mac. I've tried to remain positive over our January signings but I'm not convinced they are the answer.
