What about how Shyte we were in Roy’s last season and how good we were in PV’s first season? Are YOU a Brighton troll?

Yes, more or less this. Roy's come in and done the necessary, credit to him.
However the next level remains out of reach, as all our recent managers have discovered.

Not worth over analysing this game - yep, Roy has kept us in the premiership for another year!

Must say one thing - we definitely have a new number 1 in goal!

Football that was not and spurs pathetic behaviour led to our players showing their frustration which allowed the disgusting ridiculous ref to get his cards out when he should've sorted Spurs out for their persistent stupid fouls in the first half!

Okay we didn't play well , some might say we were on the beach! but i will add i have never seen such a diving bunch of cheating bastads in one team in all my life and their captain Kane leading by example . That and a diabolical display of inept refereeing by a horrible little man we had no chance .

We lacked intensity, desire and any luck. We got a ref who wound us up. Spurs were no better but have Kane. It was by far the worst performance since Roy returned. Any other of those performances would have seen us cruising.

Hopefully they will turn up next week!

What the level where you wind the opposition up to the state where football is no longer the reason your on the pitch.

I didn't see that at all, we competed for every single second and were numerous moments away from the ball falling our way in their box.

Tottenham obviously bribed this bent ref with 100 prawn sandwiches of the finest quality.

I think they serve salmon and cream cheese bagels or salt beef sandwiches.

Agreed, for all Ayews good play, and he has been Excellent, we need someone who can run in behind, but Spurs were disgraceful with their antics, 8 shots to 7, says it all, deserved a draw.

Like it or not it's part and parcel of the game nowadays. It would be good if we had a captain who was in the ref's ear, politely or otherwise, and a set of players who can dish is back, and a manager who highlights the refereeing discrepancies with tact.

Spurs didn't leave much space and we couldn't break them down. The same as against Everton and Wolves. Eze again struggled against better opponents. Olise was shut out for much of the game. I thought Wilf looked our only real threat. After some strong performances Ayew cut a frustrated man. Yes the ref was poor and yes Spurs used the dark arts to get over the line but I struggle to think of a clear chance we created all game.

It's hard to judge too much on this game as nothing was riding on it, but this was our first game against a big team since Roy came in and we looked no better than we did under PV. I think Roy lifted the squad, but I think we have to be realistic that whomever is in charge next season we are going to have plenty of games like this unless we invest in improving the squad.
