Zaha wasn’t interested. How in the name of god can you say that?

He said it and it's the truth he didn't offer anything.

The guy is a waste of time 90% and not worth the wages and I noticed he was captain again what is that about worst choice.

He doesn't help Mitchell out on that side which is why when Ayew was on that side we look so much better.

Ward marking Kane?…. perhaps the height difference had something to do with it!! Aside to this he had a good solid game. Passing has improved also.
Biggest culprit for the goal (again) was Mitchell allowing Porro acres of space behind him. I have raised this before but is this intentional coaching in order to play narrow denying space in the middle? This happens a lot.
Ayew didn’t have his best game but neither did Eze and Olise.

They're both 6'2'' the difference being one is Harry Kane the other isn't, our squad has been pretty awful with crosses for well over two seasons now culminating in me actually hiding behind the sofa when we concede a corner (doctor who style during the 70s) Today we made spurs appear very average and I thought we were extremely unfortunate with the bounce of the ball in their box much much more then they were in ours, the goal should've been defended better and I too am critical of the ball being played across unopposed more then it being defended once it's there, Ward has been quite brilliant as far as I'm concerned all things considered exactly the same for Ayew, the game today was allowed to pan out as it did by a ref who was absolutely dreadful denying us the ability to play football for the last ten minutes.

Where would we be if we never had him ..I wonder.

He has reached the end with us. As mentioned he does not help out coming back. Ayew puts in much more of a shift, and as mentioned, we were much better with and without the ball when Wilf was out injured.

Did you actually watch the game, it was a 50/50 match, dont you remember the Pathetic performance Vieiras 11 put on against spurs, if you cant see the difference, try watching another sport

It wasn't 50/50 though. As bad as Spurs were we didn't create a single clear chance. Not one. Go back and re-watch the 0-4 defeat. We were the better team in the first half but didn't take our chances. Second half everything Spurs touched went in. I'm not defending PV, I'm just pointing out that Roy is perhaps not the Messiah and PV is perhaps not that bad. Ultimately I think most managers would struggle to get more points than either manager has and our expectations are based on nothing more than longevity in the PL. Spurs were rubbish today and we barely laid a glove on them.

Zaha is still our most important attacking player, created very decent opportunities today that were somewhat wasted, silly to wish him gone.

Rubbish because of us or because of themselves? Considering what they were playing for and where they are in the table.

Quite even, could have gone either way, moving on

Don't know what game you were watching . We had plenty of decent chances to save a point the best of which fell to Eze who scuffed his shot with an open goal . Andersen fluffed his lines in the first half , Olise shot straight at the keeper ,Zaha missed the top corner by 4 inches and (I think it was Andersen) rolled the ball across the goalmouth in added time with nobody accepting the invitation of a tap in .
If they were not clear chances I don't know what is .

Cant be too dissapointed with the performance . We played OK without reaching the hieghts of recent weeeks but not playing so well against a top 6 side away and losing 1-0 is not a dissaster . Forget it and move on .

And we still need a striker

I didn’t see the game live, but when I saw the lineups I thought we could have the opportunity to control the midfield with our three of Doucoure, Eze and Schlupp dominating their two of Skipp and Hjoeberg.
It sounds as if this didn’t happen and I’d be interested to know from those who saw the game live why we didn’t exert more control.

You really are deluded, as Elpis says we have equal chances with them, 8 shots too 7, what we dont have is a decent CF who can make runs and stretch the play, and a left winger although captain who had no intention of helping his fullback.

No Roy is not the Messiah just a decent manager, and yes Vieira was that bad
