Fair enough. I find it a bit odd, though, that half of the points have been awarded before the final takes place, so the 'performance' on the big night is irrelevant in that respect. These are the points from the national panels. Those panels award their votes based on a preview showing.

I think every performance I saw of hers that was live was exactly the same, so the panels probably see a ropey performance as well

Oh dear, Mae's performance didn’t look or sound good to me. Too fussy and flat. Never mind.

Very polished performance from Sweden.

You'd think they would select someone who could sing but she seems to have a very week voice.

Oh dear. Eurovision was a complete fix as usual.

Sweden won it so that next year we can have a big camp Abba 50th anniversary extravaganza in their home country. All very transparent.
We were robbed by political correctness last year?

Or maybe we had already signed up to do this year's show knowing that Ukraine would be handed victory.

I feel sorry for the mugs who pay to vote.

Our entry this year had little going for it. The song was dull and the performer was a bit of a moose who couldn't sing.

We obviously knew the fixer was in.

Like Craig David singing '7 Days'?

I thought voting was through a free app.

Well when I said ‘every’ I meant the other performance I saw on YouTube the night before

I think I have only ever watched the show once.

That was in 1983 when I was in Germany with the army. We had the telly tuned into a German channel with the sound off, and the radio tuned into BFBS (British Forces Broadcasting Service) and the commentary was by Richard Nankivell, aka "Nankers Old Horse"

Was he previously known as Lord Haw-Haw? The Germans probably invented Eurovision during WW2 and planned to terrorise the free world with it.

I would sooner watch the 'Testcard' for a couple of hours.

Yeh but 30 years ago your Kleenex would’ve taken a hammering
