Well Roy was very clear that right up to the Notts game he had not been asked the question. Surely whether he was first choice or not, he would have been asked if he wanted to be considered. Maybe that question has now been asked ,but the more time goes by without a statement on it ,it doesn’t seem likely.
It looks as if they are looking elsewhere, but where is the big question. I think we have to accept it’s a job that not everybody will want to take on. Top people want silverware, not likely.
