What on earth do you fail to understand about that? We spent the afternoon today walking on Loe bar with our dog, who swam in the lake. The surf was good, the sunshine strong and the air clear. Who was there walking with us was of no importance at all. Tomorrow we will take our paddleboard to Holywell Bay, after I do some work on a flat and my wife goes to her gym. This is the life we have chosen because we like the life. Not for any other reasons at all. You cannot walk in nice countryside, on a beach or go paddleboarding in the sea if you live in the middle of a city.
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |

Dick Cole, the leader of the Cornish nationalist party Mebyon Kernow, said local control over all aspects of housing and planning were needed. “Homes are on the market for ridiculous prices,” he said. “We need to find a mechanism that allows people to live in their own communities and protect the fabric of those communities.”

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

What is hypocritical is being 'attracted' to the opposite of what you promote to others. Your promote diversity and multiculturalism but you don't live within it. Sure, lots of people love 'rural environment', civil and well kept places....yeah shocking that one. I'm sure there are plenty of 'diverse' places like Cornwall all over the world....according to you you've been over a fair lot of it......yet look where Wisbech ends up....superglued to whitey in Cornwall. You are seeking to impose your principles on me. I am living by mine. There are no double standards involved of any kind. I reject your standards as beyond stupid. I have no interest at all in where people were born. Only how they behave. I have 3 people living in my flats, and by the end of the week, 4. 2 were born here, and 2 are immigrants. Does it matter? Not in the least to me. I am seriously tired of explaining the obvious to you and others will be just as tired that it's here.
