Wouldn't mind potter But don't think he will come to us .Hard enough to yake a new manager and expexted to hit the ground running. But the fact of the Brighton connection eill make it harder for him .Might be easier tasks for him

No issues with glen Murray connection? When he was scoring goals for us?

Murray wasn't a prolific scorer for us in his first season and only scored 1 goal from the start of 2012 until the end of the campaign.

But there was no issue when he was playing and scoring for us?

Surely there won't be an issue with potter if he is winning games for us?

In general, supporters have no issues with managers if they are leading their team to success.

I think the Brighton thing is way over played whilst you had Campbell do his move years gone by , potch now with his cross London move.

Along with the So called super survivor managers whom come around once a year to any club willing to pay them to attempt to keep them up.

So Potter coming to Palace is not an issue it’s all about the money & opportunity with a an agreed Clause for being sacked !

For me G Potter is a good option and hopefully longer term than normal. He certainly improved Brighton when he started and IMO he has more to work with at Palace as I believe our squad has potential.

Murray got goals almost immediately yes so helped .But my point is its an unnecessary risk for potter and one that i don't think he will take

Murray only scored 4 goals in his first 12 games (Including the last minute goal at Brighton) and only scored 7 goals in his first season.

The last minute goal at Brighton made him a palace legend. Potter would get the same respect if he got off to a decent start.

With Murray it was hilarious to sign their favourite player on a free. Zaha to Brighton would be similar. Potter's totally different, he's worked since and also been well replaced by a more successful manager at Brighton.

Persistent rumours don't mean much, but the rumours keep coming and surely Palace would be the more attractive option?
