Season starting to look bleak without being too despondent or hysterical.

Season starting to look bleak without being too despondent or hysterical. Our forward line on Saturday was weaker than in Roy's final year, so I don't think you're being hysterical. I know a few have joked about it but I would not be surprised at all to see Andros back on a one-year deal. The club are going to need to work really hard to pull a couple of deals out of the bag or it could be a long season and it may be we see some deals that are stop gaps.

The window is not over but again showing something is not right at the club when another season passes he spend very little yet almost everyone else has no problem. You need to spend money to bring in better players yet we do not even replace players that have left on free. Expect a bunch of loans with the odd signing that is it we wont spend over 50m

At this rate, I'd have Townsend back just to bolster the squad. I understand the need to work within our budget and i actually dont mind the squad that played vs Sheffield but this team is thread bare. A bit concerning if we have injuries this season. On a positive, I'm still hopeful of us getting a few players through the door and if it's anything like recent player acquisitions then brilliant.

FFP really is worthless. Bournemouth spend &100m with only 2m coming back in, with a ground that holds less than 20,000 ? These clubs are simply being bank rolled by their owners, which I thought FFP was supposed to stop ?
