Its mad that his career is seemingly over at the age of 31.

I can only presume he is pushing for silly wages (reported at 100k at HF) which makes it too big a gamble.

If he was less of a c0ck and was after 40k I suspect he'd have quite a few offers.

He might be 31 but, from what I've seen and heard, to say he has the emotional maturity of a 13 year old would be generous.

Strikes me as the United academy graduate who let fame and fortune go to his head, never grew up and more importantly never prioritised his football, assuming it was a given.

Looks as though he has changed agents however I don't expect anything more from him, in footballing terms.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Sadly people like to think of players as they once were and not as what they've become. One would have hoped that Palace fans would have learned their lesson from the club signing the likes of Thomas Brolin, Adebayor etc.

Please do't list them all ! Sheefi Kuoki,Tommy Black, Razor Ruddock etc etc ad infinitum.

Attilio Lombardo was 31 when he signed for us, still the best player I have seen in a Palace shirt.

He also was super professional and highly motivated. Unlike Lingard and a few others!

For me on a par with Don Rogers.

Thankfully he's going to the MLS (bout his level) with Portland Timbers, his new agents know summat.
