Personally I think Guehi would probably be better able to move into midfield than Andersen as he's shown he can carry the ball, can pass and seems more mobile. Regardless I don't think we should move either and I don't think Roy will.

The solution is both obvious and simple. If someone plays they get injured. If they sit on the bench they get injured. If they train they get injured.
So what we need is a squad player who does none of these things.
And that's why we signed Nathan Ferguson.
Or have I missed the point slightly?

I cant see Roy messing about with the back line either . Riedwald will slip in next to Doucoure with Hughes moving up ten yards .

And we still need a striker

One doesn't need a Masters Degree in Hindsight Studies to realise that the club has been trying its luck with a injuries and squad depth for a while now, and here we are. It's already been mentioned regarding the £50m spent on 3 players who weren't necessary to the overall cause, and those signings I still find baffling.
Roy will have to shuffle the pack and see what the squad players are made of. Hopefully one or two will stake a claim for a permanent starting place.
I suspect it's going to be primetime Royball for a while...

Correct. Paying for the last 3 transfer windows where we have failed to bring in attacking options. When we do, like Franca, they are injured. Our attack looked wafer thin before this, now it looks invisible. As mentioned I wouldn't touch anything in the back line to remedy this, as that is strong, as shown on Saturday and might well be the only way of grinding out some points in the next few months. COYP !!

Did you not see "the kids" in our first half at Old Trafford last Tuesday night? Let's hope our walking wounded are all fit and back soon.

Because I was bored at work look at the PL table for injuries, there are quite a lot thigh injuries eg hamstring and the like, so do wonder why perhaps they are being pushed too far?

Someone like Ayew who was sometimes not considered as PL standard.

Think you giving him a disservice, he has been very useful of late. Who else?
