I've just watched a film about the extremist settlers on the WB via Al Jazeera (yes I know they have their agenda). However, they're as nutty as IS. A young woman, Western-dressed (could have been a young Amy Winehouse) calmly said she hated Arabs (they can't bring themselves to say Palestinian, 'they're all the same'), couldn't care less that an 18 month Arab baby had been killed by settlers and the whole thing was underlined by their adherence to the Torah. Usually from Somalia and Russia. One could argue that Israel views them as ‘other’ and somewhat expendable.

Remember that Armenians in their ancestral homeland of Artsakh in the South Caucuses were subjected to an aggressive war, siege starvation, bombardments, crimes against humanity and a military invasion at the hands of Azerbaijan since 2020. The social media are filled with videos and photos of Armenian men and women that Muslim Azeri soldiers beheaded or mutilated. 120,000 Christian Armenians were forced to flee for their lives after being besieged and starved for 9 months by the Azerbaijani government. For the past 3 years, Armenians of Artsakh have been going through hell. Despite all of these genocidal crimes that Azerbaijan has committed before the eyes of the whole world, there has been very little factual media coverage. It’s not just this, but Muslim countries *refuse* to recognize that its even happening, whereas even 1/10th of this occurring to them would lead to endless moralization and whining. That sounds to me like ethnic cleansing, but because it is Palestinians saying it, that's fine. Palestinian civilians are and will continue to get killed. Hamas knew how Israel would react when they attacked, so from the onset they were perfectly willing to sacrifice civilians in Gaza. People need to remember who actually started this present conflict. Hamas started it. Exactly, well said.

Right wing pro European Jews are out there...I was red pilled by one. The thinking is that the more the west 'browns' the more they will fight each other....and who will be the Moses to lead them to harmony? I don't think it works like that but I think what you need to understand is that people mostly act instinctively and I've never been a person who thinks there's some grand conspiracy in these terms.

Agree with everything you're saying, as an anecdote I have noticed a lot of center-left types, some jews here in the US waking up to whats going on. The openly pro-palestine/hamas protests, the blood chants...etc, etc The irony of these same people inviting the wolf to dine at kitchen table for the past two decades. I can’t believe that only 7 years ago the thing that most excited Leftists was affordable health care in this country. We are living in times where reactions to major events are less measured and more emotional, be it left or right....escalation and polarisation are on the menu. When it comes to war in our modern age I don't mind admitting that's freaky scary. I think the west leaders are a reflection of that....It's quite incredible that instead of the very best talent being available to voters, instead they get people only fit to tow the money line.
