Oh dear, the man with no beliefs attempts to woo the millions of muslim voters and ends up doing the opposite.

he need not bother. The main policy of the Tories is to cut benefits. And also to cut taxes for those working but who do not work in the black economy.

votes to the Labour party are a given.

To a point. Tower Hamlets shows that this does not always stay that way.

I appreciate taking an interest in the local politics for a place like Tower Hamlets is not everybodies cup of tea BUT if you want a potential snap-shop of how an element of British politics might pan out in the future then it offers an interesting insight.

the opening paragraph of the report in the link below.....

"Muslims currently constitute 3 per cent of the UK population.2 Census statistics show
that Muslims, as a whole, are by far the most disadvantaged faith group in the UK labour
market. Muslims are three times more likely to be unemployed than the majority
Christian group.

They have the lowest employment rate of any group, at 38 per cent, and the highest economic inactivity rate, at 52 per cent.
At 17 per cent, Muslims represent the largest faith group who have never worked or are long term unemployed, as compared to three per cent of the overall population.

Over half of Muslims are economically inactive, compared to a third of all other faith groups.
At 68 per cent, Muslim women have the highest level of economic inactivity amongst
all faith groups."

Not very likely to vote Tory then ?

Depends. If we actually had a real Conservative Party, then they would probably have a lot more in common with them, in terms of social values, than Labour. But we don't.

What Muslims have is high attendance rates at Mosques. Which gives them organising power. They already have a level of political muscle at a local level that is way out of proportion to their numbers at a national level. The links between grooming scandals, carousel fraud and the heroin trade and pakistani Labour Politicians is a genuine hidden scandal/risk. Ditto with Scotland where one of them is the actual leader.

Muslims and Labour is literally a marriage of convenience that will struggle to last the next 10 or so years. And they won't switch to the Tories due to the level of Hindu/Sikh support they receive meaning they will probably go with their own political party.

That's from 2004, I think it's up to 8 percent now....though I regard that as an underestimate of the true figures.

Agree. And it is concentrated and organised. The real story, outside of the terrible abuse itself, behind the grooming scandals is how political interests colluded (and I include the local police in this) to pretend it was not happening.

The issue was not the fear of being called racist but rather how Muslim communities had given Labour control of specific councils via mass postal votes collated through the Mosques. That is why the s*** was ignored. Labour literally allowed white girls to be raped because it gave them power.

One day there will be a reckoning.

How many of these women are unemployed cos they arrived into the uk in their teens, for an arranged marriage, and never bothered to learn to speak English ?
work a career ? or even a part-time job ?
Plus an absence of delayed motherhood. The maternal choices seen with the women's England football team.....not much in evidence among the women relevant to the title of the OP ?

Labour voters all.

I agree but I was making light of the fact some of them wear burkas.
