Apparently Bolasie looked good when he came off the bench for Swansea yesterday. I still would have liked us to have signed him on a short-term deal. If Roy won't play Franca then it'd have been good to have another option - and a cheap one.

From the horse's mouth... Parish has just confirmed in an interview on tv that we will strenghten in January, and not young players. He mentioned cover for Doucoure and a left sided player. Loans would be a possibility.

So will be loans, but that is a very restricted market. We will get 1st Feb, and it will "Oh we tried really hard, but it's so difficult bringing in players" I see that Sinisterra (a loan player linked with us) flicked on for their goal. We probably didn't have the money for the loan because we wasted it in the summer. Terrible.

Getting experienced players on loan is challenging as the question is why aren't they playing for their current team? Maybe the club are looking abroad? Very few names come to mind in the PL. He's not overly experienced but maybe Ian Maatsen on loan from Chelsea to play left-back or left-midfield or Noni Madueke? Elneny or Reiss Nelson from Arsenal? Targett or Ritchie from Newcastle? United's squad doesn't offer us much and Liverpool's is already too small.

Getting experienced players on loan is challenging as the question is why aren't they playing for their current team? Maybe the club are looking abroad? Very few names come to mind in the PL. He's not overly experienced but maybe Ian Maatsen on loan from Chelsea to play left-back or left-midfield or Noni Madueke? Elneny or Reiss Nelson from Arsenal? Targett or Ritchie from Newcastle? United's squad doesn't offer us much and Liverpool's is already too small.

Provides a great deal of energy and has fast feet but on occasions can be knocked off the ball easily when he doesn't beat the full-back.

We can BUY better than what Arsenal will want for Nelson. Newcastle, hmm not sure, they need their players to progress in UCL. Gonna be fun to see what 2 EPL players we get in, goalkeeper anyone?
