Very good read! I think most educated football watchers understand the reason why Rodri is the first name on Pep’s team sheet! It’s not that he’s the best, most flashy etc but he’s the most vital to structure and formation that allows the studs to play their best football! Games aren’t won on paper or articles but excited we might have another good prospect in our squad! I like the fact that we have two 19 year olds with potential (Franca and Wharton) in our ranks that could lessen the blow if we decide to take and reinvest the $100M that sales of Olise and Doucourre would bring! I’m definitely not up for selling but it’s a business and we had better plan accordingly!

Very good read! I think most educated football watchers understand the reason why Rodri is the first name on Pep’s team sheet! It’s not that he’s the best, most flashy etc but he’s the most vital to structure and formation that allows the studs to play their best football!

Games aren’t won on paper or articles but excited we might have another good prospect in our squad!

I like the fact that we have two 19 year olds with potential (Franca and Wharton) in our ranks that could lessen the blow if we decide to take and reinvest the $100M that sales of Olise and Doucourre would bring!

I’m definitely not up for selling but it’s a business and we had better plan accordingly!

I think it’s important for our rebuilding that two of our high value players go in the summer and perhaps one each summer after that If Wharton is as good as expected then we will probably keep him a couple of years and hopefully he will join the list of high value players with sell on potential. IMO it will be Olise and either Andersen or Guehi. That money will have to be used wisely because in all probability we will be having to replace both of those positions (Rak Sakhi, Franca to step up in place of Olise maybe), but we’ll need another CH (to replace Tomkins) and another midfielder to replace Riedewald who I would think we will let go . It’s also about time that we bought a specialist left winger to properly replace Zaha if Ebiowei is not considered up to it.
