Everywhere you go be it at work ,on these boards or down the pub most are saying the same thing .
That they have nobody to vote for , not one party comes close to what they would like to see in government .

Reform are a protest vote , all they talk about is what's wrong but we want to know how they will put things right .Im still not sure about the candidates they are selecting ,some right muppets so far .

And we still need a striker

I dunno, plenty of options out here.

I might vote the Green (But No Way Raise the Price of Petrol) Party.
Or the Stop the Rain and Drain the Levels Party.
Or the North Somerset Caliphate Party.
Or the Portishead, Clevedon and Nailsea NAZI Party.
Or the Bolshevik Smash the State and Optimize Country Rambling Party...

I have just heard that a candidate for the Deep Sea Kerplunk and Horse Mounted Pogo Stick Party may also stand, but I doubt I will vote for them as they don't have any serious policies.

Been saying for decades that very few people vote for who they want in gov, they vote to keep out who they don't want.

Reform are going to hand the next election to Labour if their vote holds up. And they are unlikely to get a single MP. Not that it will make much difference. The tories have screwed up bigtime and have not just dug themselves into a hole they are pulling the earth down on top of themselves as well.

I've already moved all of my UK holdings in my Pension and ISA funds to US, Far east and Special situation funds. Just in case.

Why the pension ? Serious question.

If Farage decides to lead from the front then it potentially could be a potential game changer. Would be worth an immediate 7 to 10% bump to Reform. But timing is everything. Suspect it will only happen, if at all, once an election is called.

Nigel, unfortunately,is not prepared to face yet another failure, having already failed to become an elected MP, on no less than six previous occasions.

Any strengthening of Reform will dilute the wanning Conservative vote. are Either way Charlies Angelsin charge from later this year so lets just get used to it. Might even be ok, The problem is so many are unknowns in terms of there actual abilities as opposed to their playground behaviour in Parliament.
Anyway if Farage joins in it will increase the entertainment. As one with no strong leanings I've never felt so apathetic.

Unless Putin gets his skates on which is looking more and more likely.

Didn't fail on Brexit though did he. Real change.

He is one of the most popular characters in politics. Only the loony left hate him. They hate anyone who disagrees with them.

I've retired and one of the pots I have is a SIPP. My funds are my own to control and drawdown when I want.

I have enough in other funds to be able to leave that where it is untouched for years. If it looks more likely that labour will get in I will drawdown 4/5 years worth from another fund, up to just below the 40% tax rate. That way if they increase the main tax rate I gain, lets face it, its not going down!

I will have to pay 20% on it whenever I draw it so may as well get a lump out now. I've already got all my 25% tax free lump sums as I fully expect them to reduce/remove that benefit the first chance they get.

I'm expecting several other unsavoury tax increases as well.

Sorry to go off topic guys responding to a question.

Farage supposedly about to take the reins. Could be interesting
