I think the term "Come on Eileen" has been wrongly interpretated.

Yes, many people interpret it, particulary at weddings, as a good song to have a bit of a dance to.

I'm not sure that dance is the correct term - at the various weddings I've DJ-ed at and the few that I've been to as a guest, most people assume it's a song to jump around and make an @rse of themselves to...

Sorry rach but like so many others mentioned on here he's not a one hit wonder. He had other hits "I'm a man not a boy" and "the secret of the heart". Err , someone told me.

"Dancing in the Moonlight" by Toploader for me. It was a class song.

Stardust - Music Sounds Better With You

That is definitely the only song they ever did. Absolutely brilliant song, one of my all time favourites.

By the way, rach_d_cpfc, 'Flat Beat' was by Mr. Oizo.

Big Mountain's cover version of Peter Frampton's 'Baby I Love Your Way' was pretty good as one hit wonders go, as was Inner Circle's 'Sweat (A La La La La Long)' - that was a bit of a tune wasn't it!

Other good one hit wonders were Mambo No. 5 by Lou Bega, Blue by Eiffel 65, and Tubthumping by Chumbawumba. There are loads more that I just can't think of right now...

Actually, I just thought of a better one - 'It Takes Two' by Rob Base and DJ EZ Rock. Absolute choonage!
