Well i do live here, although not able to vote yet (only been here for 6 months). Truth of the matter is that Bush was perceived as the lesser of two evils. If the democrats had actually managed to get a candidate who had some substance to his arguement rather than opposing Bush in every policy, then they would have a President now. This guy, Kerry, changed his mind so many times, depending on the mood of the nation. Think what you want of the Americans, but they sussed him. His negative campaining was ridiculous.
Bush was the winner because he was able to mobilise the 'non-voters' from last time, who were scared stiff by the prospect of Kerry as President.
Only my opinion mind you!

Don't even try mate, they just don't get it !They're all just war lovers with no regards to environment or economy ... plain stupid .. you can't change people like that !But if a terrorist action happens in London killing thousands they'll be the first to complain and say it's a scandal, don't worry !!  The fact that will be a reaction because the western world has bombed the s*** out of them will be conveniently overlooked.Makes me sick ... stupidity reaches a new level .. "navigate the world through this difficult time" .. don't make me laugh, difficult times they have created themselves !! the scary thing is that not only did they win the presidential, but they gained power in the senate. THis basically means they can do whatever they want now, instead of facing opposition from the democracts and the occasional rogue republican.

Kerry's problems were self-inflicted. He made the Vietnam War the centerpiece of the campaign. By Kerry's own words back in 1971 he buried himself.

I do not believe any Democrat could have won this election. Moral values stood at the top of the list. The people of our country are getting sick and tired of having immorality shoved down their throat. Liberals have used the court system to remove Christianity from the public. Ten Commandment monuments in city parks for 75 to 100 years are being removed. Liberal activists judges tell legislatures to make laws legalizing gay marriage despite the will and opinion of the people; the needless murder of babies by abortion on demand, the removal of Christian prayer in schools but allowing different ethnicities to exercise prayer.
On top of all that this country does not forget what happened on Sept. 11th. We do not want someone that during his 20 plus years in congress opposed every weapon system and opposed defense spending at every turn. The only defense bills Kerry supported were bills that cut the defense department. After the first World Trade Center bombing Kerry proposed legislation to cut our intelligence departments by 6.5 billion. This guy does not have a clue.
Again, President Bush has been reelected because the people of our country decided on moral values, national defense, and leadership. He has not wavered when a challenge confronts him.
