First of all, no-one said she ws going to die. secondly, she has proven to the thousands of women newly diagnosed that it can be beaten, and thirdly it is a feckin horrible illness that tears your hair out, makes you sick, makes you feel unlike a women anymore. Dont really think its the right sort of thing to be joking about. Obviously none of you "men" have had a mother or partner diagnosed with it. Im sure if your mothers are, you wont be taking the piss ever again.

Oh well, as long as you made another bloke laugh then thats ok. Im sorry, but seriously you need to think about stupid jokes that certain people (not everyone) might read and be offended by. I have been personally affected by cancer with very close relatives and really didnt find it funny. that was the point im making. and I only get "moody" as you say it when people write drivel with no thought for anyone else. And as for friendship, I have plenty of frined sin the "real world" that would most likely be offended at that joke too, knowing the s*** Ive gone through around breast cancer. Sometimes you just have to look on the bright side of life and not take things too seriously.
I have prepared one of my own time capsules. I have placed some rather large samples of dynamite, gunpowder and nitroglycerin. My time capsule is set to go off in the year 3000. It will show them what we are really like. |

Laura - my family has had breast cancer and other forms of cancer in it. However knowing how Chollis posts he was not taking the piss out of people who have suffered - it was a light hearted comment as most his are. Lighten up - go and post in the beacon of happiness that is the Good News Thread - calm down. Don't take things personally.
