Might not be the BEST but a bit of showboating from Johnny Bryne in 61 against Torquay which we won 7-2.

I was on the Holmesdale terrace and Johnny was to my right by the corner flag.He beat several defenders running along the dead ball line towards the goal, the keeper came to meet him and he went round him to the goal but didn't slot it in.Instead he ran past the goal, turned around beat the keeper again from the other side of the goal, and then scored.
Incredible,he could be a right big head at times, lovely fella!

........................Then along came Johnny Byrne! and the rest, as they say, is history.....................

Definitely Wrighty from the half way line against Wimbledon 1991 it was their last game at Plough Lane as well.

Have to agree with that. My memory of it is watching from the away terrace at Plough Lane and Segers' look of absolute disgust. Second goal of a hat trick,

Earliest I can remember was a Matt Jansen screamer when I was seven. Sadly we lost the match 3-1 to Aston Villa.
