ive got loads! born in 74 i remember(just) the team o the 80's but my favourite has to be Brighty!!!! i also love jim' boyo met him on holiday in spain once and he was great. not a player but on a sunday lunchtime alan (no hair) smith used to let my boy sit on his lap and read the papers in the kingswood arms pub. dont know if he had any effect on the ickle scamp becoming a fulham fan tho? i think that was his mum!!!

did like Ian Wright till he ran his studs down a Norwich player then kissed his scummy Arsenal badge in front of Palace fans..lost total respect for him....Jim Cannon or Kenny Sansom

Thought I'd have a little look through how many people listed Dougie as their favourite player in this thread.. and there are quite a few, I personally hope that his reception isn't too hostile but I would be very happy to see him recognise the fans himself. Personally I always preferred Wright.
