I think the outcome has handed them a very good argument, same as with Sinn Fein as it feeds into their arguments around independence. On the back of their recent referendum, a major change like this, that is not reflected in Scotland was always going to be the basis of the SNP pursuing their agenda. More concerning maybe is that of Sinn Fein promoting a referendum on a united Ireland.

Wales and England were very much leave, but Scotland clearly want to remain, which no matter how we couch it, in a democracy is grounds for SNP to revisit a referendum on UK membership when such a dramatic difference can be clearly made. For the SNP, they would relish the idea of the rest of the UK not going down this route of another referendum as it plays directly into their hands politically.

So Scotland can tell us what we do but not the reverse, despite there being only 5 million Scots with far less supporting the SNP?

Frankly, if Scotland want out the so be it. At least then we wont be potentially held to ransom by the SNP. in Parliament.

I don't really get the objection to this super-state stuff. Works well enough in the US, Trump aside, for example.

Hmmm not sure if this is a wind up or not.

IF the jocks leave they would have to accept the euro as currency. That would be financial suicide on a scale not seen since a certain Mr Leeson, brought the world (almost) to it's knee's.

I very seldom post on these boards, and when I do I prefer to discuss Palace.

However anytime I read anything overtly political on the Hol you seem to pop up. And everything you do post is incredibly aggressive, derogatory and rude. Indeed you go out of your way to antagonise and bully other people for having views that conflict with your own.

It seems as though the way we discuss our politics in the UK is becoming more and more like how you choose to express yourself.

I can't help but think its incredibly sad.

Vote to remain did we flower ?

And Sturgeon can f*** off as well.

Had Scotland kept us in the EU we would have had to swallow it.
In the reverse we will now here calls from Krankie to have another Scottish referendum or Scotland staying in the EU . Sorry love it works both ways.

The sooner Westminster rids itself of Scottish MP's the better.

2m Scots voted to remain in the UK, 1.6m voted to remain in the EU.

I'm looking forward to the next England game I fully expect that the fans will have some amusing ditties to sing.

Not really - the 2m voted under the premise of the UK being in the EU.

Why would it be? Jamie asked the same question earlier and no-one's replied.

The premise of being in maybe, but not staying in. They knew a referendum on it was coming.

And why did 400,000 less bother to vote to remain in the EU, if that was the crux of their vote to stay in the UK?
