Very proud of Wales.

I'm also proud to be in an union with another nation that filled the whole world with such laughter last monday. Well done England.

I guess laughter is better than filling the world with spittle when you speak !

Fair play.

Incidentally, how may Welsh players were born in Wales or play in Wales?

I don't hear too many Welsh accents in the team.

Nine I believe...that's nine English born players that chose to represent Wales. Can't blame them, as that was their best chance of doing anything of use in a major Tournament. They wouldn't have got into England's team, yet they're in the Semi's of one of the biggest Tournaments on the planet.

The Germans who fought in the Wehrmacht for their country are to be respected. There is nothing wrong with objecting to a war and campaigning against it, but working for the other side in most situations is betrayal.

In situations where you know that your country is committing genocide against a race of people and....any set of people they don't approve of.....maybe in those circumstances working against your state has ethics to it.

However, this is a pretty extreme set of circumstances. Alexander, for example, didn't praise these people in his time, he put them to death. I'd lock them up in mine.

Obviously in a war you use what these people have to offer but in my eyes....unless there are exceptional circumstances....a traitor is a traitor.

That's very big of you

Supporting a belligerent, destructive and probable short-term regime in war is not patriotism. And a native fighting against it is the opposite of treachery. For he would care more about the country than the villains.

And they wouldn't be playing football if it wasn't for the English League, in England where most of them live and make their living.

Funny how most people of Scots, Welsh and Irish decent don't actually live in their own country but hate England.

You do realise that it isn't where you are born that counts, if it was Jesus would have been a cow or a horse, it's the passion and genetic make up that counts. These players are proud to play for us.

Yet they did and posted it on facebook, like a bunch of girls.

I didn't agree it's the club ration but it wasn't posted by the team. It was some media woman who happened o be there. From what I've seen they were (rightly) a bit embarrassed hen it went viral

Oh I see.

Actually I don't.

Genetic make up? Jesus a cow?

Welsh mother, Irish father. And I'd still support England against Wales and Ireland.

Fully assimilated, me.

Is this a quiz?

You are missing the point.

It is an absurdity to claim to be fervently Welsh when you were born in England. Celebrate your heritage by all means but don't start dissing the country where you grew up and work because of some delusion of Welshness. It's gets more daft the more generations you are removed from the mother country.

I don't think anyone has "dissed" England (unless I've missed something)

As far as Welshness, or Englishness, frenchness, etc goes. You can argue whether it's right or not. There are times when it is clearly bonkers but when you watch the Welsh team line up singing the anthem you cannot doubt what THEY feel and it is certainly more than a flag of convenience.
